Villa Lago in Nusa Lembongan, Bali
Villa Lago is a luxurious four bedroom beachfront Villa on the tranquil island of Nusa Lembongan. Completed in April of 2014 the villa was designed by John Lincoln of Lincoln architects to take advantage of the exceptional waterfront location and is a blend of both traditional and contemporary elements. Renee Coleman of Renee Coleman Design styled the home with quality, custom furnishings commensurate with the high end finish of the villa.
The villa features four spacious and well appointed bedroom suites and can cater for up to eight guests. Two bedrooms have king size beds with the remaining two rooms offering the flexibility of two king singles or one king size bed. All beds have King Koil deep foam mattresses with designer bed linen and a selection of pillows to ensure a good nights sleep. Each bedroom has a private bathroom and is fully air-conditioned, with ceiling fans and has an in room security safe. The villa was designed so that every single room, including the bathrooms, has an oceanview.
The open air living and dining areas have magnificent views over the pool, gardens and beyond. The dining area features a large recycled teak table which seats eight guests comfortably. The main lounge area has large, comfortable couches facing the view with the adjacent area offering a bar and additional lounge seating. The Bose music system is iPod compatible so feel free to play your own music or sit back and relax to some of our classic chill out selections. To maintain a cool environment, the transparent blinds are lowered mid afternoon and raised again late afternoon for you to enjoy the sunset and lights of Bali.
There is immediate access to Coconut Beach where you can hire stand up paddle boards and surfboards, or simply head into the crystal clear blue water for a snorkel or a dive. The villa is in a serene location, yet only a few minutes walk from great restaurants and warungs.
It is one of a small number of properties in an exclusive hillside estate called Playgrounds Estate. It is right on Song Lambung beach also known as Coconuts beach. This is the small beach that the surfers paddle from to get to the Playgrounds surf break. In fact you can see all three surf breaks (Playgrounds, Lacerations and Shipwrecks) from the villa.
L.A.G.O Late Afternoon Glass Off – a surfing term to describe the perfect conditions and time of day when the sun goes down, the breeze drops, and the waves have a glassy mirror like finish.
